Our Toddler Care Program provides a warm, engaging, developmentally supportive environment so toddlers can explore, discover and build confidence. During this age toddlers are growing rapidly, becoming more curious and independent. Our program is set up to support their growing independence and curiosity while fostering their love for learning.
Toddler Care Activities
Our flexible daily schedule encourages their exploration, movement, and creativity. While it is structured, it also allows for spontaneous learning. We work on strengthening their fine and gross motor skills with activities that include balancing, building, climbing, and grasping. The teachers are also promoting simple problem-solving skills through hands-on experiences, because at that age a hands-on approach is how they best learn.

We begin expanding language through songs, stories, and conversation. The children are being encouraged through turn taking and sharing, promoting their social growth and development. Their independence is built by supporting self-help skills like hand washing, feeding themselves, and cleaning up after their own activities.
Communication with Parents of Toddlers
Communication with parents of children at the toddler level focuses on supporting consistency between home and school. It is crucial for the child’s development to take a team approach here. Parents and teachers share any changes that need to be supported the same way in both environments.
