I'm so happy we found Northern Virginia Academy-Burke for our son, who has been going here since he was 6 months old and is now graduating pre-school. Every teacher he's had has loved on him and treated him like family, and the staff is professional yet kind-hearted. All the classrooms are newly renovated and the outside play area is really big. The recent addition of emailed KidReports with photos every day and the online payment system are good too.

Thank you Thank you…. For the past 5 years I don’t know what I would have done if it wasn’t for NVA and Ms. Rhi making the decision to fit one more child into her school. From there a year later Skyler came. And NVA has been our children’s 2nd home since then. My children absolutely love their teachers, feel safe, have learned more than their parents could ever teach them, helped Skyler walk, helped him start talking and so much more.
Thao and I are so grateful for absolutely everything NVA has done for our family, and to say we will miss you… that is a huge understatement. We can’t believe in less than 1 week both of our children will be in Elementary School. We appreciate, Ms. Melissa, Ms. Yuri, Ms. J, Ms. Yasmine, Ms. Katrese and Ms. Rhi and all the other teachers that have touched my children’s lives.
You hugged them when they fell on the playground, and I wasn’t there.
You talked them down when they were fighting with friends.
You drew them out when they were quiet or worried or discouraged.
You cheered the loudest when they finally got it, that thing that had them confused for so long.
You put up with my kids when they were less than they could have been.
You all are the greatest gifts my children have ever been given.

When we visited the campus of NOVA Academy of Early Learning we were very happy with how clean and well-organized this facility was and the staff was not only friendly, compassionate and loving but also with proper education and vast experience. I stopped unannounced many times, just to find my son either sound asleep, or drinking from a bottle or exploring in fascination various toys and trinkets (with the teacher by his side, of course).

Before my son turned 2 he was reciting the alphabet, singing most of the nursery rhymes, holding a pen properly, hitting and excelling at every milestone. He loves going to school and I have a piece of mind when I go to work that he is not only taken great care of, but is learning something new every minute he is there.

How time flies! It seemed like it was just yesterday when our daughter started at the academy. I think I was even more nervous than her on that first day not knowing how she was going to take it all in, knowing up to that point we have not really had any formalized schooling. There really was no need for me to worry though because by the time I picked her up she was smiling and was actually excited about school. I would like to sincerely thank you and your staff for making the last school year an absolute blast! Our daughter progressed so fast that she now writes, counts and reads with confidence! Thank you for creating a nurturing and safe environment where kids feel like kids at the same time given the essential building blocks to ensure that they are successful in whichever program they continue to. I also would like to specially mention Ms. Yolanda who lovingly prepares the kid's meals; Ms. Medalia who is always helpful; Ms. Alexis and Ms. Carmenia who made summer camp super fun and cool; Ms. Sharon and Ms. Carmelita whom she found her second niche and Ms. Sebina who is so kind and of course Ms. Senait who really nurtured her, patiently worked with her and yet lovingly oriented her to school do's and don'ts. Again THANK YOU for having such a great team of teachers who love what they do and it shows and the kids know and feel it. We will always cherish having started with Northern Virginia academy of early learning.

We are currently expecting another baby and while I have an option to stay home with the kids, I choose to enroll them both in Northern Virginia Academy of Early Learning. They do a wonderful job at taking great care of the kids, educating them, maintaining a schedule, and providing the much-needed interaction with other kids.

I want to personally thank the Directors for taking the time over the past year to acclimate me to your center and carefully listening and advising me when I came to you for advice. I also want to thank the Assistant Directors for the welcoming and loving environment they create for my children. You all make a fantastic team and WOW we are lucky! I have had experience with home daycare and center daycare other than Northern Virginia Academy of Early Learning and without a doubt I would recommend your center. My family has had a truly wonderful time.

I love their daily curriculum of reading time, discussion circle, music in motion, play and outdoor activities, art projects, and Spanish classes (of which we already see the results) to name a few.

For nearly 5 years the staff and teachers at Northern Virginia Academy have provided my children with an incredible preschool experience. Not only are the administrators committed and responsive, but the teachers, from the baby room up through the 4's/5's have consistently provided a solid curriculum along with loving care.

Our time at NOVA Academy was incredible. My son has now transitioned over to kindergarten this year, but thanks to NOVA Academy he was more than prepared. He was there since right before he turned 3 (he'll be 6 in December). The teachers here truly excel at what they do. They truly care about and enjoy working with children. They have been a huge part of my son’s life; I like to call them my village. The curriculum is great, my son already knows how to write his name, his ABCs, numbers up to 100, shapes, colors, etc. On top of that, he learned manners, social and communication skills. Their facility is always clean, and the food is yummy (according to my semi picky 5 yo). Ms. Ginny brought so much love, joy and fun when she took over as Director. I am grateful for my village at NOVA Academy!

My children (10, 6, and 1.5 years old) have attended the Ashburn campus of Northern Virginia Academy of Early Learning in some capacity or another for almost two years. My two oldest have attended camps, drop ins, and after school programs. In addition, our youngest has been in the full time preschool program since he was almost four months old. It is a joy and so comforting when we walk in for morning drop off or afternoon pickup that we are greeted with smiling and friendly faces. All of our kids have thoroughly enjoyed every program they have attended. Knowing when we pull into the parking lot my 1.5 year old starts clapping and shouting "school". As he continues to grow, I am seeing things that have obviously been taught to him by his teachers (i.e., sign language, ABC's, counting, and various other words and mannerisms). Leaving our littles is always hard, but it truly is a blessing when your child leaps out of your arms into the teachers' arms ready to start his day. Not once have I ever walked into the campus and any of my kids say that don't want to be there. They are eager to go, have fun and learn. Any time anyone ever asks about daycare options in my area I always give them NVA's name and tell them how great they are. My one regret is that we did not find them sooner.
